IN CONVERSATION WITH:
NATHAN BALL
This week we caught up with Nathan, a singer/songwriter from North Cornwall. Nathan shares our love for the coast and active living. We chatted about the things that inspire him and how he winds down after a day in the studio.

What’s inspiring you at the moment?
I feel very blessed to live in Cornwall, it’s the most inspiring little corner of the world. Now we’ve made it through winter and all the hedgerows are popping, it’s a real sensory overload even just driving down the lanes with the windows down. I love all the little nooks and crannies in Cornwall, there are so many coves and landscapes to be inspired by every day.

What’s your go-to healthy ritual?
To be honest I just try and exercise every day. Whether that be getting in for a surf, going for a swim, playing tennis, anything to get the heart rate up really, it helps to clear the head. Also, we eat a lot of veg at home and try to eat a healthy diet, something which was much harder when we were constantly on tour and living out of service stations!

What’s the most exciting thing in the pipeline for you right now?
I’ve been back in the studio working on a new EP which I can’t wait to put out into the world. Off the back of that, I’m currently working on putting together a ‘Unique Spaces’ tour, where instead of playing traditional venues, I’m going to put on shows in beautiful places like churches, shops, gardens and whatever else we can get our hands-on. It’s been 2 years with no shows for us, so I’m really craving that magical connection with the audience again.
